Invasive mucinous adenocarcinoma, lepidic growth pattern. Diffuse adenocarcinoma simulating the appearance of lobar pneumonia. This pattern is usually the result of aerogenous spread of tumor. Microscopic examination revealed a lepidic growth pattern of tumor cells with the appearance of what was formerly called bronchioloalveolar carcinoma.
