Initial workup

Assess clinical and constant signs; ionogram, kidney function and blood glucose if moderate-severe.

red flags

Hypotension, oliguria, confusion or poor perfusion → severe dehydration (urgency).

Standard management

  • Oral or intravenous rehydration — according to severity
