Initial workup
Distinguish focal/generalized; TSH and blood glucose; rule out systemic cause if it is nocturnal.
red flags
Night sweats with fever and weight loss → rule out lymphoma, tuberculosis or endocarditis.
Standard management
- Antiperspirants (aluminum chloride) — focal hyperhidrosis
- Treat the cause — if it is secondary
