Initial workup

Assess hydration and weight curve; ultrasound if they are projective or there is a palpable mass.

red flags

Bileous, projective vomiting, distension or signs of dehydration → urgent evaluation.

Standard management

  • Rehydration — main measure in gastroenteritis
