Initial workup

Pregnancy test, gynecological examination, sediment; pelvic ultrasound.

red flags

Pelvic pain with amenorrhea and bleeding or instability → rule out ectopic pregnancy (urgency).

Standard management

  • Analgesia — pain control
  • Targeted antibiotic — yes EIP/UTI
