Initial workup

Immediate ECG and troponin; chest x-ray; stratify coronary risk.

red flags

Radiating oppressive pain, with sweating/dyspnea/syncope → activate ischemia code; rule out dissection and PET.

Standard management

  • Acetylsalicylic acid — suspected ACS (after assessment)
  • Nitroglycerin — angina, except hypotension/right AMI
